So proud of my boy...

We were driving home from the library today and Eli picked a book that I had chosen (for me to read to them) out of the bag and started reading it. He read the whole thing with no help at all. I had tears in my eyes I was so excited for him. He has read many books for school work this year but he has never voluntarily just picked up a book and read it for pleasure. I guess because I love reading so much and because it's such a milestone to read alone I was just quite emotional about it!! Here he is reading the same book later on to Immy. (Ok so it's not the greatest picture - he freaked out at me saying "stop taking pictures - I need to concentrate")
