England vs USA

Firstly I am trying out Windows Liver Writer instead of blogging right on to blogger so I have no idea how this will look and if the pictures will fit in where I have placed them.
So Yesterday was the first England match…what you didn’t know? Good thing you got me to keep you in the loop then ;) Here are a couple photos from our day. I didn’t take many photos this week coz both batteries from both cameras needing charging and my phone…well it’s just wrecked from a certain little baby who keeps stealing it to suck on and then throws across the room. Can’t wait to get my iphone :)

Cathedral Grove

On Saturday we decided to take a trip out to Cathedral Grove.

It's about an hour  from us on the road out to Port Alberni. We had promised Eli that we would go as long as it wasn't raining.  Luckily for us (as it's all he was talking about) it was sunny on Saturday morning so off we went. Of course we got half way there and it started to torrential downpour! Yay, David and I were thrilled to have left the first sunny day in ages in Nanaimo and headed into rainy Parksville. We had to keep going anyway as 3 year olds get very disappointed if you change plans midway! By the time we got there however the sun was shining again - not that it matters when you are walking in the middle of the forest.

Eli brought his binoculars (he calls them ginoculars) to see the top of the trees!

Standing inside a tree...the middle had been burned out

Beside 'The Big Tree'

It's obviously hard to see how big it is in a picture - here is a picture of the sign so you can compare.

And some random shots :)

Oscar and Alfie

Please ask your mummy and daddy if you can come and play at my house soon!

Almost on the move

Imogen is now expert at crawling backwards and has done the odd forward crawl by accident. She is extremely frustrated that she can't crawl forward and SCREAMS so loud to let me know about how mad she is!

On Sunday we were lounging around on the bed and the two of them were so cute playing together. Imogen has learned how to kiss... you can see her going in for the kill in the middle picture and then her very favorite thing ever in the last photo - pulling Eli's hair. He thinks it's hilarious and is forever putting his head in her face so she can do it and then they both laugh and laugh together.

and one especially for Oscar and Alfie (excuse the gormless look - he thinks that he has to scrunch up his face like that to keep the glasses on?!!)

I love picnik!

Did I mention that I love picnik? It's an online photo editing program and is super easy to use for people like me who look at photoshop and get confused! I love playing with it and making changes to my photos just for fun, oh and they have an 'Insta Thin' button which I love! Anyways I am certainly no expert and just mostly do silly things with it but it keeps me busy while I am sitting in Imogens room settling her for the hundreth time in a night. I love the photo that I posted a few days ago of Eli as he looks so beautiful and innocent and like my baby still (not the 4 year old he will be in a few weeks, sob!) BUT he had a really dirty face in it, so I cleaned it up and maybe just made his eyes a teeny bit bluer :) Oh I get excited about the silliest things!
Anyways here are some photos from the week...
Spot the one of Eli where I found him scrounging Imogens highchair for cheerios - seriously, who needs a dog?

I love my cot (not)

Gorgeous girl playing in her cot. She has just figured out how to pull up to standing on the side of it but she can't quite stay there so she falls back and smacks her head on the opposite rail everytime! Poor baby.

My Beautiful Eli

lil' giggles

May Long Weekend

So Helen and Buu came over for Saturday/ Sunday and we had a really nice catch up (well ok the boys played and made so much noise we barely spoke but it was all fun!!) Unfortunately it rained the whole time so everything we did was in the rain but we still had fun. I didn't take too many photos but here are a few to have a peek at... (some are off my phone and not from this weekend at all but the last few weeks)

Eli and Elliott walking home from preschool

Imogen at Timmies today having lunch
Zach and Eli eating dinner last night - gorgeous boys
And Imogen eating hers...
A pretty awful pic of me and the kiddies

Helen and Eli snuggling, David sleeping and Buu playing on his ipad all while watching Toy Story

oh for some reason it didn't rotate and now I can't do it but Eli climbing up the tire tower

Zach and Buu watching from the top

And that's all I have for now! xx
