These are from a couple of nights ago. They had just got out of the bath and were messing around. I didn't know what they were doing until I saw the pictures!!

Saturday at the park
We had some time this afternoon while we had a showing so we went to the park. The kids had a great time. They were playing 'Octonauts'. It's so cute as Imogen really plays games like that now. She was 'Dashi', one of the characters and she stayed in character the whole time. If I called her Immy she said "I'm Dashi mummy". She's seeming older every day at the minute. Bittersweet!
This was the 'octo-pod' (if you've never seen Octonauts you have no idea what I'm talking about and that's ok!)

Rain!
Well the beautiful sunshine that we had yesterday was not to be seen today! It rained all day long. Helen sent me a text picture of Zach and Ben jumping in the puddles and it reminded me that I had bought the kids new umbrellas (from the dollar store because I am fed up of buying expensive ones and them breaking them after 5 seconds of having them) so after dinner we went out to play in the rain. They had a lot of fun getting soaked!
I love this face (below) it is her 'I am having sooooo much fun' face! Oh and she kept saying "you surprised me mummy, thank you for my belella (umbrella)"
Always has to be a pose no matter what you are doing!
I love this one 'cause he looks totally zoned out but I just love that gorgeous face dirty with pizza sauce!
He's laughing here in disbelief because I just dared him to go down his water slide!!
If only you could see how heavy the rain was. He was drenched.
Another pose!
Imogens umbrella didn't stay over her head very much!
Rain soccer
And a nice warm bath at the end to warm up!

Happy 1st day of summer!
Eli is obsessed with the calendar. What date it is, what day it is and reading the (prewritten) events on various days. He has been counting down to June 21st and the first day of summer for a long time. He asked if we could go to the beach to celebrate! We are going out this afternoon which meant the only way we could do it was to go first thing when we woke up! Despite being the only people at the beach it was a perfect time to go as it was hot enough to play and go swimming but not burn in 5 minutes hot. Anyway they had lots of fun and later when a few other people showed up Immy walked over to a little boy and said"hi, it's me Immy. What's your name?" So adorable as it's the first time she has specifically asked a stranger to play and a massive improvement on shouting loudly at anyone who dares to come near her and try to play with her.

Vernon May 2012
Just noticed that I didn't post any pictures from last month when we stayed with mum and dad (at least I don't think I did -it's quite possible that I did but I'm too lazy to scroll back and see if I did!)
Half way there - park break in Merritt
The next day after we arrived Eli wanted to go straight to Davisons Orchard. His favourite place to play.

Daddy came for the weekend - this is when they just got up and saw him. Not so sure if they were more excited to see him or his iPad!
