Eli was sleeping on his McQueen air matress in our room while the Develings were here and he rolled off it and this is what we found when we went to bed!

Before blowing the candles out - we had a huge teary hysterical meltdown while singing Happy Birthday. He was super embarrased (or maybe he just hated our singing!)

This was Eli's when he was a baby, we got it back from Helens a few weeks ago and Eli thought it was fantastic! He lay on it and played with baby Tad for at least an hour!

Day at Parksville

It was a gorgeous hot, hot day (but very windy at the beach, hence the sweaters!) So we went to Parksville for the day for a picnic. We all had a lovely relaxing afternoon and Eli kept saying "I`m having so much fun"!

Little boys games...

Eli drives his batman bike and car madly around the upstairs of the house and knows he isn't allowed to crash into the wall/door/closet or anything else. This morning he crashed gently into the closet and looked at me right away for my reaction...I said the usual, "please don't crash into the closet or I will have to take the bike away". His response in his most lovely sweet voice (with a slight tone of how stupid are you for not knowing) was "but I am pretending to be like a bulldozer mummy", which obviously makes it all ok!!

Easter

We had a very wet Easter but we had promised that we would take Eli to the Forestry Center to do their scavenger/egg hunt and train ride and there was no way he was letting us back out, rain or no rain!

Weekend in Vancouver
