It's almost Christmas!

David trekking through the mud to find our perfect Christmas tree!

Eli was in charge of the saw ;-)

We found our tree!

We baked some gingerbread cookies

Last weekend we took the West Coast Express (normally just a commuter train downtown but they had a special Santa train) into Vancouver. We did some shopping in Pacific Centre and we went to 'Fly Over Canada' - a really cool 4d ride that makes you feel like you are "flying over Canada". Highly recommended!

Waiting for the train at Pitt Meadows

Eli on the train.... on another note he is trying to grow his hair like Luke Skywalker ahhhhhhhh. I have lost count of how many times I have asked him if he wants it cut!

Waiting to go on Fly Over ride

Shopping at 'The Bay'

Trying on hats!

Earlier this week the kids and I went to visit this house in PoCo.

The kids had their last swimming lessons yesterday before Christmas. They both passed their levels. (Swim kids has 10 levels) Eli passed level 7 and Immy passed level 1

Last night we walked to the train station near us (Pitt Meadows) and watched the CP Christmas train roll into town! This was the second to last stop after a cross Canada trip! The train stops and santa gets off and then the sides of one of the rail cars open and they have a concert!

Waiting for the train

Here it comes!

Sheila came to visit and more....

Putting the kids to work on the leaf clean up!

We stayed up at Whistler for a night

The hotel had an outdoor pool. It was snowing outside and the pool was about 29 degrees. I stayed in the hot tub!

We went  up to Golden Ears park and Aloutte Lake

The picture order got messed up! Here's Immy ready to shop at Whistler.

It was cold and rainy then snowy

We went for a walk and lunch at Fort Langely

Nannie made a Christmas scene with Eli and Immy!

The kids were doing a Christmas Video one day at Church and had to dress up Christmassy

Face painting at our Church Christmas party

Eli is doing a social studies class where they are learning all about Canada's Natives. Eli's group are building a diorama of a typical 'Plateau' Native group habitat. This week they had 3d scanning done of themselves and then they will have a little 3d version of themselves to go in the diorama. This was his costume!

Here they are putting the tree's in their landscape

This is how it looks so far. They have a lot more work to do on it. The white side will be a winter scene and the greener side will be how they lived in the spring and summer months.  They just completed their teepee's. I think they made them a little big compared to the size of the tree's but it's all good! It will be awesome when it's all done.

The kids did their Stage Coach Christmas performance. I will put some videos on of it later.

Imogen lovely lipstick for he performance. It wouldn't come off for about 2 days!

Immy made this book because she thought she was as grumpy as Mr. Grumpy lol
