Last day at Rathtrevor

*if you're reading this now (2013) and confused, I'm updating some posts from last year that I never got onto the blog as we were busy moving! Just want to have them on here for memory and when I print it*

Rathtrevor is one of our most favourite places on the Island. When we moved to Nanaimo in 2007 we rented a condo on the beach for 3 months. It was an amazing place to live. Eli was just 14 months old when we arrived and him and I were mostly home with no car while we lived there, but we were never bored! We walked through the park and played on the beach every day. It's a place that we have gone to many, many times since. During the winter for a freezing cold walk along the beach and during the summer to spend the day playing at the beach.

We like to do something fun on the day that school starts again. (Homeschoolers refer to it as 'not' back to school day!) This day was busy packing to move to Ontario but we managed to get out of the house for a picnic dinner, bike ride and play at the beach.  We didn't know it would be the last time we went there at the time but it was a perfect last visit.
