I've been wanting to go out to Cascade Falls since we moved here! We finally visited and it was well worth it!
For Easter we went to Vernon and stayed up Silver Star Mtn
Our view every morning :-)
The mountain had closed for skiing the weekend before but the runs were still groomed so the kids had so much fun sledding down them (and not so much fun walking back up lol)
More beautiful views!
There was a snowmobile tournament on so one of the chairs was open to go to the top and watch the snowmobiles. It was a beautiful crystal clear day so we decided to take a ride up!
I've never ever taken the chair back down before (always skied down) Usually your eyes are focused on getting up the hill so going down was a whole new thing! Beautiful views but I definitely felt a bit nervous!
Back in the village
After our ride to the top of the hill we came down and went to the beach!
Clothes from Nannie! Sheila I keep meaning to tell you that the shorts for Eli came at the best possible time as he wore them for his triathlon the next weekend and then he wore them as his underlayer at theatre!
The Kennel where Walt stayed had some 2 week old puppies (the owners dogs). Immy was in love!
Eli competed in a triathlon. Can't remember his overall position but he came in 3rd for his swimming portion which he was really excited about.
So excited that we got pink flowers on our little tree this year!
It was actually sunny enough to eat outside one day!
One day this week Eli had to be at dress rehearsals for the full day so I told Immy she could pick something fun for us to do. Her choice was to go and look at the flowers! It seems gardening skips generations and went right from mum to her! She just loves flowers so much! She was in her element and I let her pick a whole bunch to plant!
